missingWrote a review on Dec 03spacious suitejetted tub
We had an amazing stay in our spacious King Suite with a balcony, perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze! The jetted tub was a treat after a long beach day. Highly recommend walking just a minute to the beach. it's gorgeous!
Felt welcomed into the family, no complaints at all.

missingWrote a review on Nov 22beautiful pool areapoor bathroom lighting
The pool area was a retreat, perfectly shaded in the afternoon, while the staff offered spot-on recommendations for nearby dining. Our room provided ample space and comfort.
The bathroom lighting was inadequate, making it hard to prepare for our evening event. A slight smell in the hallway detracted from an otherwise pleasant environment.

my stay at castillo real resort was fantastic! the queen suite with spa bath was spacious and had a great fridge. the outdoor pool and hot tub were so relaxing, surrounded by beautiful palms and loungers. it's conveniently located near downtown, making it easy to explore historical sites. the staff were wonderful, especially nick, who made our stay even better.

missingWrote a review on Nov 14great locationspacious room
The hotel is really close to the beach, just a short walk away. They gave us a discount for breakfast which was a nice touch, even though the restaurant was closed on Mondays.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what we got, it was still acceptable.

missingWrote a review on Sept 17comfortable roomwell maintained poolloud fountain
Just came back from an amazing trip with my friends! We spent time at the beach and also visited the local historical sites nearby. Our stay was comfortable with a great room and lovely staff. The pool area was well taken care of, and breakfast was a treat! Just a heads up for future guests, there was a fountain by the pool that ran all night, which made it hard to hear the ocean.
The only bummer was that the fountain by the pool ran 24/7, so we couldn't hear the ocean like we hoped. It would've been nice to enjoy the sounds of the beach while relaxing.

missingWrote a review on Sept 15spacious balcony
The room was spacious with a balcony that let in a nice breeze. The jacuzzi in our room was a fantastic touch, just what we needed after a long day of exploring.
It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable for the experience.

The hotel had beautiful decor, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach. However, some inconveniences, like limited towel hooks and slow service at the restaurant, were noticeable. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and the friendly staff made a positive impact.

Had a fantastic time at this place. We arrived and the staff completely took care of us. The front desk lady, Candice, went above and beyond. She upgraded our room so we had a balcony and ocean view, and left a sweet note for my son on his birthday.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but honestly it was worth it for the experience.

Spacious room and friendly staff. Wi-fi was spotty during our stay.

missingWrote a review on Aug 11beautiful beachspacious roomgreat balconyawful lighting
Had a fantastic time with my friends! We enjoyed the beautiful beach nearby and explored the historic district, which was just a short drive away. The spacious room had a great balcony, perfect for relaxing after a day out. For future guests, just a heads up, the restaurant was closed during our stay. I'd definitely recommend this place for a fun group getaway!
The bathroom lighting was awful for makeup application. Had to move a lamp from the nightstand to make it work.

missingWrote a review on Aug 08beach proximityspacious roomparking fees
Solid proximity to the beach, making those dawn strolls easy. The room featured a spacious area for lounging along with a small fridge, perfect for stashing drinks.
Encountered an unexpected $10 daily parking fee that felt like a money grab. The hot tub was out of commission during my stay, which was disappointing, even if it was being fixed. On top of that, the bathroom setup lacked a spot for toiletries, and the toilet paper holder struggled to keep its role, which came off as a little sloppy. The sleeping arrangements weren't the most comfortable either.

missingWrote a review on Aug 08luxurious showerspool conveniencedining options
We really enjoyed the large walk-in showers, which added a touch of luxury to our stay. The convenience of having pool towels readily available made it easy for our family to enjoy the pool without any hassle.
The experience was positive, but the overall dining options could be expanded.

The Castillo Real Resort Hotel features a charming lobby with a three-story atrium, beautiful marble floors, and large columns, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Its accessibility to the beach made it easy for us to enjoy leisurely strolls.
More comfortable seating options in common areas would help.

missingWrote a review on Jul 22spacious roomsclean poolslow elevator
Super spacious rooms, right by the beach, and a clean pool to cool off in—what's not to love?
The elevator was slower than a tortoise on vacation, and construction debris in my room? A little too rustic for my taste.

Awesome getaway at the beach!
The jacuzzi in our room was a perfect touch, and the balcony view was stunning! The staff made us feel right at home, super friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the restaurant was delicious! Only wish the parking was a bit easier—had to circle around a couple times. But still, a fab vacation!
